This is our main goal in our sessions, to understand (1) what your exam tests, (2) what's the best way to approach the questions, and (3) what are the best methods to practice and adapt to the time constraints. Here are some exams I regularly tutor:

Content

We'll start with familiarizing your with the basic format of your exam. I'll help you recognize patterns in your incorrect questions and help you fill in the gaps of your content knowledge quickly and effectively using questions specifically chosen for you. We'll analyze and address weaknesses systematically and effectively, and reinforce strengths.

Strategy

Strategy will give you a plan of attack: a process by which you can get to the correct answer over and over again once you know the concepts tested. Strategy is necessary to prevent you from missing the traps in harder questions. If your scores are inconsistent and you feel you've leveled out, let's talk strategy!

Pacing

We'll review general pacing strategies for your exam. You'll learn pacing drills you can practice on your own, and we'll set pacing benchmarks for each assigned practice test. Remember: pacing is not just something that you only practice on full-length practice tests! Together, we'll make it a seamless part of your homework and overall study plan.

Content Creation


In addition to tutoring, I also write original test prep-related content on a freelance basis for a flat rate of $195/hr.
